This App below called Kids' Guide: Using a Catheter was developed by Pediatric Urology Nurse Specialists (PUNS). It may be a useful tool for learning how to self-catheterize. The App is a companion to the Catheterization Booklet and is designed for children ages 6-12 learning to self-catheterize. It can also help to reassure parents that kids can learn to self-catheterize. The App provides an interactive and fun learning experience, while teaching the importance of emptying the bladder on a set schedule and the simple steps to follow.
